May Peace Be With You.
A man argues with another, ‘The man of authority eats first at the table. It is better to command structure.’
The other man replies, ‘The man of righteousness eats last at the table. It is better to encourage generosity.’
The two men approach a third man with the debate. The third man replies, ‘Indeed, the man who eats first receives his share. Yet, the man who eats last maintains prerogative of the leftovers. The consideration becomes whether convention makes the portions liberal or conservative. And thus it is with politics.’
