A Practice for Pesach 28.7.60 (cent mots)
28.7.60
Greetings Friends,
May Peace Be With You.
A humble, vegetarian man sits with a blanket in front of the door to his home after the Seder. Whilst walking by, men ask what he is doing:
‘I am waiting for the angels of God, so I can bear witness: ‘I am a man who strives for humility before the one True God and that I love God greater than I love myself.’ And if the words of my testimony are insufficient, let me be like Isaac; let my blood bear the sign upon the door for Pesach.’
The humble man concludes,
‘Besides, it is good preparation for Sukkot.’
