There is a paradox within manhood.

All men are imperfect. Amidst this imperfection, there are two basic decisions:

One is to deny making a mistake. This is a road that has lead to transgression and tyranny.

Another is to admit mistakes and go back in an attempt to remedy the harm. This is a road that has lead to foolishness and ridicule.

Then there is maintaining a balance amidst the extremities; continuously atoning for past transgressions whilst continuing to strive for righteousness.
